There are days (like Monday) when I still do foolish things, like attempting to kick up into a handstand when I’ve been away from any kind of strength building yoga practice for too long.

But most days, my practice provides me the knowledge and insight to sit up straight, relax my shoulders and my jaw, to notice my breath. To pay attention, even for a moment. For that, I am grateful.


I am also grateful for flowers. Yellow ones, in particular.
